The Winning Way
Walking in Victory through the Spirit and the Word
“For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.”
(Romans 8:13)
As a child of God, it is vital to see life from the right point of view: the perspective of Christ. Don’t interpret life through the lens of your natural senses: what you see, hear, or feel. Life is spiritual, and the winning way is the way of the Spirit and the Word. Live by the Word, not by assumptions or human reasoning.
When we talk about viewing life through the light of the Word, it means your understanding and beliefs must align with the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Gospel is God’s Word concerning who Jesus is, His mission, and His life within us today. He brought us the life of the Kingdom, a higher life built upon higher principles. He completely disrupted natural, sense-driven knowledge.
For instance, He taught, “Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat and persecute you” (Matthew 5:44). That’s not the world’s way. Moses said, “An eye for an eye,” but the Lord Jesus introduced a new way to live.
Scripture declares, “The law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ” (John 1:17). Jesus came to reveal true life and the nature of God: the way God thinks. The winning way. This truth also applies to your health and well-being.
The world may embrace fear, sickness, and uncertainty, but the Gospel assures us of divine health: “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers” (3 John 1:2).
So, if you ever face symptoms in your body, don’t be alarmed. Look at the situation through the Word, from the perspective of the Gospel. Divine health is your inheritance. Glory to God!
Prayer
Dear Father,
Thank You for giving me Your Word through which I live in victory and dominion. I see life through the perspective of the Gospel and walk continually in Your light. I reject fear and every outcome contrary to Your Word. I walk in love, divine health, and strength, prospering daily in the name of Jesus.
Amen.
